The Löwenbaude holiday home with four apartments is located on a slight hillside on Bismarckstrasse on the “Rathauswiese” in Braunlage. In summer you can look out onto a wonderful meadow landscape from the living room or the balconies. In winter you have a beautiful view of skiing and tobogganing fun on the practice slope with lift system. At the same time, the Löwenbaude is very centrally located, pleasantly and quietly a bit above Braunlage. In a few minutes walk down to the valley you can not only reach the town hall, but also the business "center" with numerous shops and restaurants, the ice rink or mini golf course, the valley station of the Wurmberg cable car or the gondola pond in the spa garden. And just a few meters uphill from the Löwenbaude, nature begins with the typical Harz meadows and forests. From the "Raue Wiese" with its observation benches you can enjoy a wonderful view over Braunlage. In winter, all cross-country skiers can access the Braunlager cross-country ski trail network or tobogganers can go tobogganing there. And in the snow-free months, there are relaxed walks in the forest. Welcome to a fine location!

Relaxed ambience

The house built in the 1950s for the editor-in-chief of a regional newspaper was sustainably refurbished in 2019/2020 and extensively converted into holiday apartments of the new construction standard. The outdoor area was also redesigned and parking spaces were created. A striking external feature of the Löwenbaude is the wooden facade made of untreated larch with varying panel thicknesses (skyline contrast). In contrast, heavy wooden ceilings or dark wall paneling typical of resin was deliberately avoided in the interior design. In the interior design, natural solid wood furniture with modern accents in anthracite, cozy sofas and armchairs in friendly light earth colors dominate the bedrooms and living rooms. The spacious eat-in kitchens in exposed concrete look are lovingly and functionally fully equipped. The lighting layout of the holiday apartments is playful and multicolored to suit the individual mood. On the balconies or the covered terraces, with a cup of coffee or tea, the "climatic health resort Braunlage" can truly be experienced. Or you can play a game of table football, electronic darts or on the shuffleboard (Jakkolo) with your family or friends in the common room. Feel comfortable in a relaxing ambience!
